Using Planning Portal NI’s map application is a doddle, but for those who are new to the site we have included an introductory guide on how to use some of the basic features of the map. A more in-depth guide into some of the advanced map features is accessible below.
By default, the map will display all planning applications for the current year. Hovering the mouse over a point on the map will display the basic information about that planning application such as applicants name, planning number, date submitted and a brief synopsis of the proposed plans. Clicking on any point in the map will bring up detailed planning application details along with a link to the associated documents.
All the points on the map are colour coded depending on the type of planning application they represent. Points that are surrounded by a green square represent planning applications that have been granted permission to start development.
